Hey!! Who had a day off with her husband on Friday?? This girl did, that's who!! And it was fabulous!! We slept in until 10:30 or so, got ready for the day, went to Village Inn for breakfast at lunchtime, and did some apartment hunting. Then, we got some groceries and some food for our furry babies. We also made some burgers for dinner and spent the rest of the night relaxing. It was an amazing day off, if I do say so myself :-)
We looked at like 3 or 4 places and ended up finding a new apartment!! It's soooooooooooo much nicer than what we currently have, and I'm crazy excited!! There's a gate, 2 pools, a fitness center, a car care center, and assigned parking PLUS our apartment is on the second floor, has a entry way with a closet and our own private staircase, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fireplace, 2 built-in bookshelves, TONS of storage (2 walk-in closets, linen closets, etc), and a balcony. All for $977 a month. IT'S PERFECT!! YAY :-) The catch, though, is that we have to sign our lease on October 12 and move in on the 14th/15th. Our current lease doesn't end until October 28th... So we will be renting 2 places at 1 time for like 2 weeks... NBD. AND we have to be ready to move in to our new place in like 2 weeks as well. CRAZY!! But I'm still super excited. We are finally getting our money's worth in safer area.
So for our amazing and productive day off, I wore my adorable off-white no-label dress that I got from Plato's for $12. It's so cute!! It's also super comfy, AND it shows off my tattoos, which is always a good thing ;-)

I love this dress because of the detailing it has on the top part. And because it is just really pretty :-) I added a gold braided belt at the waist to add some definition, which is super important. BTW.
I wore my super cute mint green Forever 21 sandals to add some color. Just a fabulous choice. My outfit was absolute perfection today, in case you're wondering ;-)
I did have a super productive and wonderful day off with my husband, and I'm legitimately super excited for our new apartment! Our kittens are going to love the carpeted staircase, and there will be videos upon videos of my kittens staircase escapades, so don't worry. It will happen :-) And onto the next post (since I'm clearly slacking like crazy)... Stay productive!! Ciao!!
