Hey ya'all!! How's it going? I'm doing pretty good since I know I have the day off tomorrow :-) Today was my third day of work in a row, and I'm so happy there's not a fourth day that follows. My body is tired. Work today was pretty good, though, because it stayed somewhat slow, which meant we were able to stay caught up and get out 10 mins early. Happy Kassy :-)
I dressed up a little bit today and wore a black floral-printed Decree crop top with an aqua high-waisted Forever 21 skirt. It was pretty cute, if I do say so myself :-) I felt super girly in it all day. I went for a plain shoe and chose my white H&M flats. Simple and comfy for shoes is always a winner when you work on your feet.
What I love about my crop top is that I bought it at Plato's (yesterday) for $8. And what makes it even better is that it still had the tags on it, so it was brand new and never worn. Win!! Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem buying gently used items as long as they've been washed and are still in good condition, but when I can find a super cute brand new item for cheap? Heck yes I'll take it!!
After I got home from work and ate a quick dinner, I ended up changing my outfit because I knew the hubby and I were going to go hang out with another couple at their apartment. I changed into a black-and-white patterned Love Culture peplum top with a slim silver belt and my favorite higher-waisted BDG shorts. So cute, right?! Right :-)
I love the pattern on this top and how flattering it is. I bought it with my birthday money this past year, along with a bunch of other tops :-P What can I say? I love to shop, which isn't too big of a problem since I mostly shop at Plato's now, saving more money than I would if I shopped at the mall all the time. That's definitely a win :-)
I paired my cute mint green Forever 21 sandals with this look to add a pop of color (yeah, I know... I really need a pedicure... I'm getting one in the morning with my bestie, no worries). I do love these $7 sandals quite a bit, and I still can't believe I bought them in the mall at regular price. I have no idea why they were priced so low, but I definitely won't complain :-)
The couple, my husband, and I had a chill night playing Mario Kart :-P Apparently I'm not a very good simulated racing driver... Who would've guessed? Well, ok, I kind of had a feeling I wouldn't e very good at it. Facing games just aren't my thing. NBD. The wife had made me a mixed drink with watermelon juice peach Schnopps while the guys drank their beer (gross!!), and it was sooooo good!! It doesn't even taste like alcohol, so of course I liked it :-P
We got back from our friends' apartment, and I'm super tired. It's definitely bedtime for this girl. I have to get up at 8 so I can leave to get a pedicure by 9, so I'm going to hit the hay. Until tomorrow... Stay fashionable, my lovelies :-) Ciao!!
