Hi all!! I've had a wonderful day off with my love today, and I couldn't be happier about it :-) So last night my husband and I stayed up until 12:30 reading in bed, which was really relaxing. Then, we slept in until almost 11, and that never happens. Ever. We got up, ate breakfast, showered, got ready, and were out of the apartment around 12 to go to the Brandon mall. We ate lunch at Panera Bread after I got a white camisole, a peach maxi dress, and a thing of lip floss from Forever 21 (all of which was $22!!), and it was pretty yummy. I somehow managed to order chicken noodle soup with my 1/2 of an Italian Combo sandwich and a mango smoothie instead of the delicious mac n' cheese that I wanted, but it was ok. We ended up getting ice cream a little bit later (and it was DELICIOUS!!) which made up for my lack of mac-n-cheese-deliciousness at Panera.
I wore a pale green high-low maxi dress that I got from Urban Outfitters yesterday when my husband and I went to the International Plaza Mall (it was on sale for $30, originally $60). It's soooooo fabulous!! I love the lace detailing at the bottom and the light weight fabric!! I wore a bright yellow belt with it to add some fun, and I think it worked perfectly :-)
I paired my striped pointy-toed JustFab flats with this dress because the colors just looked so perfect together :-) This pairing really wasn't a hard decision at all. So easy, it's ridiculous. I mean... This outfit was just a no brainer, ya know? ;-) Besides, the outfit made me feel pretty, skinny, and kind of fancy, which is always a good thing.
After the mall, my hubby and I drove back home and relaxed with our kittens for a bit. I realized I had to do homework, so I worked on that while Adam made eggs and toast for dinner (one of my favorites even though it's so simple :-P). I'm super glad I remembered to get my homework done. Otherwise, it would've been bad... Once we got done with dinner and cleaned up from it, we decided to rent a movie called Never Let Me Go. I liked it, but it was kind of sad and depressing. I'm not sure if I would recommend it. When the movie finished, Adam wanted to play his Zelda game on the WiiU, so I decided to cuddle with Arya while posting on my blog. Pretty relaxing :-) I'd say today was a pretty great day off. Nothing too exciting but nothing even remotely stressful or upsetting, so that's always a 'win' in my book. Plus, I got to spend an entire day with the love of my life, which hardly ever happens.
Now, though, I'm going to go back to spending time with him (which means I'm going to cuddle up next to him and read my book while he plays his game). Until tomorrow... Stay fancy, my fellow fashionistas :-) Ciao!!
