Energy drinks are great!!! I had one this morning, and I'm bouncing off the walls! :)
When I went to Target yesterday, I thought I'd try out the Starbucks Refreshers, since they're a juice drink with unroasted coffee beans, without the taste of coffee, they come equipped with caffeine and energy boosters. I'm ALL about that energy life! lol But really though. I have been dragging so much this week, so these are a great pick-me-up!
I had my first test of the year at my 9am class, Earth and Space Science. I think I actually did pretty well, but I'll find out this upcoming week if my feelings ran true. (Wish me luck!) It was that difficult. Partly because I was able to use my solar system notecards that I made a week or so ago and a cheat sheet, plus the information isn't really anything new. To top it off, I actually kind of find this stuff to be interesting! I know, I'm a nerd. :P Whatever. I'm over it. :) lol
The test only took be about forty minutes, so I went to the union and got this next week's study hours started. I got one and half mentored hours done, so that's good, and then I started on my individual hours a little bit. I ate my lunch that I packed, because I'm cool like that, and headed to my last two classes. For my lunch, I packed a Smucker's PB&J sandwich, one of those Kraft Hand-snacks, with the crackers and cheese, a granola bar, and an Arnold Palmer (for after my Starbucks Refresher was gone). I'm so cute! ;) haha
I was WIDE AWAKE in my next two classes! I was focused and aware and I contributed quite a lot in my Philosophy class discussion! Go me! :) haha The only bad part was that my mind was racing like a million miles a minute, thinking of things I wanted to say and things I need to get done for the day. :P After class, I went back to my dorm room real quick, after stopping into the store Essentials inside the union to get another Refresher and some pens, and changed for work. I packed another sandwich for the night, another crackers and cheese snack, and a Sparkling Ice drink. Oh, and some Goldfish! :) YUMMMMMM!
Work wasn't too bad. We had three groups, two on the Pro course and one on the Recruit course. The group on the Recruit course had a birthday party, so they were in our party room for forty-five minutes after playing time, which meant Natalie had to stay up front to help, so I helped Cam ref the Pro course game. We ended up getting off early, at 9:45pm, since no one came in for the last session. Whoop whoop! :)

I went back to my dorm after work, skyped with Gage and then headed to bed around 12:30am or so. I kind of wish I would have gone to bed a little earlier, since I had an early and long day ahead of me, but of well. It was worth it, staying up to skype. :)
Today I showed my "Panther Pride," wearing this year's UNI Panther Football shirt, which is gold with purple writing, khaki shorts, that I just got at Target for like $6 (score!), and my Sperry's. Then, for work, I changed into khaki pants, since it was chilly outside and in the store, and put on my Nike running shoes instead of my Sperry's. I also sported my Panther Pride with a purple UNI zip-up jacket, with the Panther emblem on the front and "Panthers" written down the sleeve. The jacket is so warm and soft and comfy, and the best part about it is that it was only like $10 or something like that at UniversiTees! Yay! :)That was my Friday night! Be safe this weekend and stay fabulous. :)
