I'm such a slacker...

Day #57

Yesterday, or Thursday, was a pretty long day again. I only had one class, but I was up late on Wednesday night doing homework and Pride Cry stuff, and then I had a whole bunch of things to get done during the day.

After my class, I worked the ADPi table from 11-11:30am, went back to my room for lunch, did some homework, and skyped with Gage before going to choreographers practice. We had decided after practice Wednesday night that we should get together the next day to finish up the choreography for Pride Cry, and we were able to successfully do that, so yay! :) haha

Gretchen and I went to dinner in the dining center with some other sisters after choreography, and then I left early from dinner to get some more homework done. I felt like I had so much to do, but really it was just a few things that were going to take a while. It probably didn't help that I was super, too, so it was taking me a while to focus and get it all done. Plus, Gage and I skyped again after dinner, so I was paying more attention to him than my homework, naturally. :P lol

That was basically my Thursday. I just did homework and Pride Cry homework. Yay. -_-

I did decide to dress up super cute though!!! I felt that it was needed, since I was so lacking in appearance the past couple of days. :P  I wore my purplish-blue blazer, that I got in Charleston from Loft, overtop of a white chiffon-like button-down long sleeve shirt, from Forever21. This was the first time I had worn these pieces of clothing, so that was pretty exciting! :)  Then, I wore my very first pair of American Eagle jeans, which are a medium shade of denim skinny jeans, with dark silver Xhilaration ballet flats that I got in the kids' shoe department of Target. BOOM. Oh, and to make the outfit even better, I added a fancy necklace, that has grey flower-type things on it, and thin silver chains dangling from the flowers. I was looking hotter than the sun!!! lol   But really though. :)







Day #58

THANK THE SWEET LORD ABOVE, IT'S FRIDAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! This has been the longest week of my life, and I'm so excited that it's finally the weekend! :)

I had my three classes again, so nothing really all that new, and I have a chapter retreat at 5pm for my sorority. Until then, though, I'm in my room cleaning and getting my crap ton of homework that I have done. :P

I feel like I have SO MUCH to do this weekend, and I'm not looking forward to it. At all. I have a ton of homework, work tomorrow, and I'm going to the Ronald McDonald house with some sisters on Sunday to volunteer, followed by chapter meeting. Oh, and I have to find time to squeeze in a choreography practice on Sunday, so wish me luck on that one. :P

I'm kind of excited for retreat tonight...It's scheduled for five hours, but I'm hoping it doesn't actually last that long. We're doing Diamond Reveal for the Alphas tonight, and I'm sad that I'm not a diamond. :(  Our standards chair decided at the beginning of the week that girls who are on grades are not allowed to get diamond sisters, even though they've been allowed to in the past. So since I'm on grades, I'm not able to have Morgan (my bid day buddy) as my diamond. :'(  I'm seriously so sad about this, and when I found out that I couldn't be her diamond, I cried. I know it sounds really pathetic, but I have such a strong bond with her that it kills me to not be able to be her mama diamond! What makes it even worse is that she keeps hinting at wanting me to be her diamond, but I don't have the heart to tell her otherwise...It sucks!!! :(  Oh well. There's nothing I can do about it. :P  I just have to keep reminding myself that things happen for a reason...

Today I went cutesy casual. I wore a Victoria's Secret black v-neck, a brown Max Studio leather jacket, dark denim American Eagle skinny jeans, black Candie's gladiator sandals, and a leopard print infinity scarf from Express. It's not the cutest outfit ever, but it's better than shorts and a t-shirt. :P  My eyes were really heavy and tired today, so I wore my glasses again, but I did manage to put on makeup and straighten my hair! I'm slowly, but gradually, getting back to the old me, where I dress nice most of the time. :) haha

I need to get some homework done before retreat, and probably change into some letters, but I'm FINALLY caught up on my part of the blog, after majorly slacking for the past week! haha  Have a great Friday night and remember to stay fabulous. :)
