So I also forgot to post on Sunday. So what? Sue me. ;) I'm taking care of it now, so ha! lol
I got home from work a little after 10:30 on Saturday night, skyped with Gage for about an hour/hour and a half, and crashed. I was SO sleepy! I slept super hard that night and didn't wake up until 10am or so Sunday morning.
My mom had texted me wanting me to come home so we could go through the rest of the clothes that Plato's didn't take, and then figure out who got what money and yada yada. So after I finally crawled out of bed, showered and ate lunch, I inched on home. When I got there, my mom wasn't even there. Big shocker. :P So I hung out with Katy and Kimmy in the basement for a while and then my dad came down to turn the Steelers game on. We ended up watching part of the game as a family, once my mom got back, and then mom and I headed upstairs to figure out the clothing situation.
It turned out that most of the clothes they took were mine, so my mom gave me $100 of the $176 total. Not too bad, I'd say! :) Afterwards, I did some homework and laundry and eventually left for my dorm after my family left for Katy and Kimmy's first soccer game.
I continued to do some homework, as well as cleaning, back in my dorm room and then I skyped with Gage for about an hour before chapter meeting. Sunday night was the first Alpha Delta Pi chapter meeting of the semester, which was exciting (kinda)! It started at 7pm and ended up only being two hours long. Listen to me: I just said only two hours...yikes. That was actually a pretty short meeting, compared to how long they usually are, and for it being our first one of the year. Those can usually last three hours, depending on how focused we are and how much information needs to be shared. It's ridiculous!
For meeting, I wore a brand new outfit! Yay! :) haha I got this outfit from the Tanger Outlet Loft store that I went to in Charleston (when I visited Gage). I wore a lime green short sleeve button-up cardigan, with silver beading around the neck, tucked into a lime green, navy, black and white patterned skirt (sorry I don't know that you would call that pattern :P). Then I wore my silver Candie's sandals for shoes. I got a few compliments, mainly from sisters, saying that I looked like a teacher. I know, shocking. ;) haha I rocked my ADPi pin to meeting and my black shoulder bag that Kathleen, my diamond, made for me for my initiation. It has pink and white ombre writing, that reads "Alpha Delta Pi" in a semi-cursive hand-writing, a cute lion (since that's our mascot/animal), and a tiara atop the lion's head, since I'm OBSESSED with tiaras and princesses! She's knows me so well! :)
That's basically my Sunday. I went to bed shortly after I got back from meeting, since I was tired, but I did manage to squeeze in a little phone chat with Gage before we both dozed off. Stay fabulous! :)
