Two-in-One

Days 37 & 38

So... Kind of failed at posting yesterday. Sorry about that :-P Even though I did have to wake up at 4am to take my husband to work, I did get to go back to sleep. I woke up at 11, got ready, went to the bank to deposit my Financial Aid check, and then got to work 20 minutes early for my 1-9:30 closing shift. Work yesterday was ok, not too slow or too busy. I actually ended up getting out like 15 minutes early, which was nice :-)

For work yesterday, I wore a red Sasha peplum top that I had purchased in Texas over a year ago and some navy-and-white striped cropped pants from Plato's for like $10 (I'm not sure what the brand is). It was a slightly nautical outfit, but I thought I was kind of cute, too. The only part I wasn't sure about was the pleating on the top part of my pants. It makes me look a wee bit funny I think, but because I was running late and didn't have time to be indecisive, I went for it. Oh well :-P

I wore my worn down tan Papaya flats since they're comfy and can go with pretty much any outfit. I'm definitely going to need to replace them soon. NBD or anything, just has to happen because they are falling apart.

After work yesterday, I changed into PJs, ate some cereal, and read the third book in my series. Actually, I ended up finishing it at like 1:30am, and it was really, really good :-) It just made me super tired for today, though. Probably shouldn't have stayed up so late reading... Oh well :-P

This morning, after sleeping for like 2 hours, I had to get up and take my husband to work again. I was soooooo sleepy, but I managed to get home ok. I went back to bed only to wake up just under 4 hours later (8:15) so I could get ready for work. So... No sleep is essentially what I got :-P After getting ready, I left the apartment at 9:25 to deposit my paycheck before work at 9:45. Work was slow, then slightly busy, then slow again. I got off at 6, came home, changed, and then went out with my man :-)

For work today, I wore a yellow sequined top that I purchased from Plato's a while back for $7 (IDK the brand) with my new cropped skinny American Eagle pants. Comfy and cute was my goal, and I believe I achieved it perfectly :-)

I love the sequin detail at the top of this shirt. It's so pretty and unique. The minute this shirt was bought into the store, I knew it had to be mine. I'm not even kidding... I have nothing like this shirt, and I LOVE how fabulous it is!! I just HAD to have it :-)

I broke out a pair of golden Aldo gladiators I've had for forever today, and it made me realize just how much I've missed wearing them. I honestly have no idea why I haven't worn them in so long. I mean, I haven't work them since I moved to Florida, and that was almost a year ago. It's crazy :-P I have no reason not to wear them... Oh well. It's NBD. All that matters is that I'm wearing them again :-)

After I got home from work, I changed into a teal chevron-patterned Mossimo dress that was a $12 buy at Target when I first moved down here. It's so cute :-) I wanted to wear a dress because I knew my hubby and I were going to go out to eat, and I wanted to look nice. Plus, I love wearing dresses ;-)

I always wear some form of skinny belt with this dress because it helps accent my waist, which is super important. I love how I feel in this dress (pretty, skinny, confident, fun). Well, ok... I just love the dress period :-P It's so cute, and the chevron stitching pattern gives it a little something extra that makes it more than just a boring teal dress. CUTE!!

I added some pizazz shoe-wise and went with my new studded gray flats from Plato's ($10, and I can't remember what brand they are). Aren't they fabulous?!?! I'm totes in love with them, NBD ;-)

My hubby and I went out I eat at a favorite place of ours, The Pub. It's in the outdoor part of the International Plaza Mall. The fish and chips there is the best I've ever had, not even kidding. SO good!! After dinner, we walked around the mall a bit before heading to Target for some supplies. We went to Target to get what we needed and then went home to relax. It's been a pretty great night with my love so far, and I'm loving the quality time we're getting :-) AND I'm excited to have tomorrow off with him. YAY for more quality time!! As for now, though, I'm going to go cuddle up next to my love to watch a movie or something. Until tomorrow... Stay colorful :-) Ciao!!
