Ridiculous Saturday

Day 59

Aloha!! After sleeping in until 12pm, I decided to get up, get ready, and do some minor cleaning around the apartment before my 2-10 closing shift. I ended up putting away the rest of the laundry and cleaning up my closet. It really needed to happen. My closet floor looked like a hurricane had attacked or something :-P I personally feel like that happens to every respectable fashionista, though, so it's all good. I mean, not every fashionista knows exactly what they want to wear and when they want to wear it. Not only that, but not ever fashionista has every outfit turn out just they way they expected it to. So, yeah... I think my reasoning is mostly sound ;-)

Work was really, really busy again. Go figure. I mean, was a Saturday, so of course it's going to be ridiculous busy. It was good overall, though, since everyone was having fun and interacting with each other. That always makes a work day go better. AND we have a new girl who seems A) really cool and B) like a hard worker. I have a feeling that her and I are going to get along really, really well :-P

For work, I wore a white BDG t-shirt that has a navy city skyline printed on it in a stripe-like way. I bought it from Plato's for like $5, and it's pretty cute. I added a dark teal Charlotte Russe cardigan since the store does get a bit chilly every now and then. Again, pretty cute :-) I also wore my dark wash cropped American Eagle skinny jeans that have holes in them since they're super comfy, just like the rest of my outfit.

I wanted to include a more up-close picture of my shirt since it's kind of hard to explain the pattern/print on it. I'm not entirely sure which cities have their sky lines on it, but what I do know is that I do love this t-shirt :-)

For shoes, I added an amazing pair of caramel brown no-name boots that I had bought from Plato's for a mere $11. They're soooooooo fabulous, right?!?! Right!! LOVE THEM!! I had seen these boots the very first time I had ever been in this Plato's, knew I HAD to have them, and ended up buying them a month or two later once I had been hired. Hey, when I know I have to have something, I make it happen :-)

I had to work until 10 instead of 9:30 because my boss wanted to teach me how to do payroll paperwork since our Assistant Manager (who used to do it) is no longer with us, and it doesn't look like we will be getting a new one anytime soon. Next Saturday, I'm supposed to teach another key holder the same paperwork. YIKES!! But I know I can do it!! After work, I came home to do some more homework, and I was in bed around 12:30 or so, so not too bad. The day wasn't a bad day by any means. It wasn't fabulous, but definitely not bad. Just a crazy busy Saturday work day like expected.

Anywho... time to get to my post for Sunday (today) since I've been slacking so much :-P So... Stay boot-tacular, my fellow fashionistas!! Ciao!!
