Let's Be Productive!!!!

Day 49 :-)

Hey all!! I just so happened to have a very productive day off today, and I'm super proud of myself :-) Here's a rundown of how my day went:

I woke up at 10, fed the animals, took a bath (LOVE those!!), brought PT clothes to my husband on base because he forgot them, cleaned out some of the stuff in my closet that I don't need anymore, finished getting ready, called the elementary school I want to do field experience with since I hadn't heard anything yet, called a different school after finding out I wouldn't be able to do it at the first one, set up an appointment to meet with the VP/get a tour/schedule the days I need, found a potential adult ESOL class to sit in on for one of my classes, took my stuff to the North Tampa Plato's where I made $52, lined up a phone interview for an assignment while relaxing briefly with my husband, went apartment hunting around South Tampa, had "date" dinner at Outback Steak House, did the phone interview, typed up the manuscript, submitted it online, and then spent the rest of the night watching Footloose (the original), Grease, and Erin Brokavich. It was an 80's/90's movie night I guess :-P

My day off was definitely a good one, that's for sure :-) My outfit today was cute and super practical for getting stuff done. I wore a green off-the-shoulder Xhileration shirt that was $5 at Plato's with my super cute yellow-and-white striped American Eagle shorts. I love these shorts because they're comfy, well-made, and totally make my butt look amazing :-) They may have been like $25 in-store, but no worries my fellow savvy shoppers... I've already gotten my money's worth out of them. It's all good!!

I felt like wearing a pair of $5 white cutout flats I had bought while waiting for my buy to get done at the North Tampa Plato's. The label is all worn out on the inside, so I have no idea what brand they are. They're adorable, though :-) Before I discovered these beauties, I was wearing my plain white H&M flats, and while I love those flats, these cutout ones are so much more fashionable and interesting. True story.

I do have some good news from earlier today. My husband was finally able to take is last training test this morning... And he PASSED!! Now he can apply to take leave so we can visit our families at some point!! YAY!! I would absolutely LOVE to take a couple weeks of vacation time to go back home to Iowa where we're from and/or up to New Hampshire where most of his family is!! He has to apply for the leave and get accepted before we can make any plans or anything like that, but just knowing that it might actually be able to happen now is super fantastic :-)

So now that I'm all excited for all of these possibilities... I'm going to attempt to go to sleep :-P I have to work a 9:45-4 shift tomorrow and then leave for my 6-8:55 class by like 5, so I have a long day ahead of me. AND the store owner will be there all day tomorrow. I'm definitely going to need to be well-rested, that's for certain. So, until tomorrow... Stay productive :-) Ciao!!
