Day #54
Monday, Monday, Monday...oh how I don't like you.
Monday was brutal. I stayed up until 12:30am the previous night, studying for my Humanities 3 exam and doing other homework that was due Monday. That's the latest I've stayed up on a school night so far this semester. I don't do well with staying up that late since I wake up early in the morning, and my body is used to going to bed around 10/10:30pm. Grandma problems. :P
So I woke up early, to get ready for 8am class. When I got to class, barely awake, I ended up waiting for fifteen minutes in the class with the other students, for our teacher to show up. He never did. -_- So I woke up early for class, after not getting much sleep the night before, only to be ditched in class by our teacher. I was PISSED! And by that point, I had already drank half of my Starbucks Refreshers, in hopes of making it through that class, so I was too awake and energized to go back to bed. I ended up going to the union around 8:15am to do homework, and I was able to get some mentored study hours done. That was really the only positive that came out of my teacher bailing on class.
I went to my other two classes, did some more studying, and chilled out for the rest of the night. Around 4pm that afternoon, I got an email from my teacher saying that he was sick and wasn't going to make it to class. NO CRAP. Does he think we're dumb? Of course we realized that there wasn't going to be class by that point! It was four in the afternoon! So dumb. :P

Since I was super tired Monday, I wore this past summer's Vacation Bible School t-shirt, from my church. The shirt is purple with a lion's face on it and it says Kingdom Rock: Where kids stand strong for God, which was the theme of VBS. I paired the shirt with black cropped yoga leggings, from Victoria's Secret, and my Nike shoes. I was tired as eff so I wore my glasses, absolutely no makeup, and I didn't do a dang thing to my hair. I'm such a catch. ;) lolDay #55
Tuesday...I was still tired. :P lol
After class, I went to the union to volunteer at the ADPi table, advertising for Pie an ADPi. Pie an ADPi is a one of the fundraisers that we do for our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House, where people pay to throw shaving cream pies in our faces. :P lol We also have a baked goods sale there, so I'm hoping to work that, and not have to get a pie in my face. Wish me luck! lol
So I did that for thirty minutes, and then I drew up formations and transitions for Pride Cry and did some homework. We had our very first Pride Cry practice later that night, so I had to make sure I had a spot for everyone, as well as making sure I had the words and the routine learned, so I could teach it. I literally spent HOURS working on the transitions and formations! I had people who were going to do Pride Cry for sure text me so I could put them in the "line up," or so to speak, so my phone was blowing up all afternoon and night! I kind of felt popular...;) haha
My dad was working on campus, so we had lunch in the union at 1:30pm, and then I did more homework afterwards, and went back to my room around 2:30 to skype with Gage.
After dinner, I had a meeting with the choreographers of Pride Cry, to run through the routine and what not before practice, and then we headed over to the WRC (Wellness Recreation Center) on campus to meet up with everyone doing Pride Cry. Practice actually went really well and we got a lot done! As a group, we ran through the lyrics a couple times, addressed outfits that we will be learning, paired up girls and guys, and finally, I gave placements in the routine and taught about a fourth of the dance to everyone. I'm really excited to see how the whole thing turns out! :)
I wore the same yoga crop leggings as Monday (judge me), a grey half-zip Victoria's Secret sweater, and my fake black TOMS from Maurices. The sweater is SUPER SOFT AND COMFY, which is why I wore it, and its has LOVE PINK written down the left sleeve in shades of purple, giving the ombre look. It's pretty cute. :)
Day #56
HUMP DAYYYYY! lol Like really, though. TGIHD (Thank God It's Hump Day)!!! Wednesday was such a long day, but at least it meant that the week was half over.
I had all three of my classes, work, and Pride Cry practice on Wednesday. After my last class, I went back to my room to get my things for work, and then I worked from 2:30pm until 8:45pm. I was supposed to be there until 9:30, but no one came in for the last session, so I got out early. Whoop whoop! :) I changed into shorts, a t-shirt and tennis shoes fore practice, before leaving work, and headed straight to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) house for Pride Cry practice. Practice was scheduled for 9pm, so it worked out PERFECTLY that I got off early!
Practice went really well! We got the rest of the choreography we had done taught, we taught the new formations, since I had girls join and drop, and then I also taught transitions. Since everyone worked really hard and the dance looked great, we, as the Pride Cry committee team, decided to let everyone leave early. We're so nice. ;) lol I went back to my dorm to do some homework, and headed to bed around 11:30pm or so.
Since I was lazy again on Wednesday, and I had to work, I just decided to wear my work clothes all day. :P I wore the green work shirt with a grey cardigan, from Gap Kids, American Eagle dark denim bootcut jeans, and green slip on tennis shoes type thingy (lol) that matched my shirt. Glasses were worn, again, but this time I actually did my hair and makeup, so yay me! :) haha

Hopefully the first half of your week was much better than mine! :P Stay fabulous!
