Day #60
Being in Alpha Delta Pi, I get the amazing opportunity to visit the Ronald McDonald House(RMH), in Iowa City, because our philanthropy is the RMH. I get to volunteer with cleaning things around the house and outside. It's actually a requirement for each sister in my sorority to visit a RMH once a semester, but I view it as more of a privilege to get to go there. It's an awesome experience! :)

My "immediate" diamond family, so Kathleen, Ashley, and I, were the only ones to visit yesterday. Ashley and I drove there together, and Kathleen met up with us, since she was visiting her brother at the University of Iowa before our scheduled visit. There wasn't much for us to clean, so we were there for a little less than an hour.
After we got done there, we all went to the mall, in Coralville, and went to a few of the stores inside. I ended up not buying anything- SHOCKING, RIGHT?! I wasn't feeling good (with my cold) and I was tired and I needed to get home asap to do homework and what not before meeting. Luckily, we were only in the mall for maybe forty-five minutes, and then we headed back to C.F.!
I got home around 4:30pm, did a smidge of homework, changed into my outfit for meeting, and headed over to Gretchen's room, across campus, to make brownies for our bake sale and Pie and ADPi coming up. We looked all domestic and house-wifey wearing our dresses and heels while baking. We're so cool. ;) haha But really though. We went to dinner at the other dining center by her building, and walked to meeting together after.
Meeting went pretty well and not too long. I ended up staying afterwards for optional friendship circle, since I had exciting news to share with my sista frands! :) That only lasted about half an hour, maybe? Then I went back to my room, did homework, and got into bed at 11pm. Not too shabby! :)
Since I was volunteering for Alpha Delta Pi, I wore my newest purple ADPi v-neck to the house. With it I wore my American Eagle skinny jeans (that I almost always wear), and my black gladiator sandals (the Candie's from Kohls). I obvi couldn't wear that to meeting, so I changed into a new floral print peplum dress from Forever21, with a peach-colored Merona cardigan from Target, and black Candie's heels. :)
I hope the start of your week was a good one! :)
