What a weekend...

Day #52

Saturday was long. Plain and simple.

I worked a double shift at work, cleaned my room, did some homework, and went to a party after I got off work the second time.

I went into work at 10:30am, left at 1pm, came back at 5pm, and left for good at 11:15pm. Yuck. I was so exhausted and I had so much stuff to do. Work was the last thing on my mind. :P

In between my two shifts, I skyped with Gage, went to get some groceries with my mommy, did some homework, and I VERY THOROUGHLY cleaned my room. I only had three and a half hours or so to do all of that, so I'd say I'm pretty bomb dot com! :) lol  But really though.

Work was really busy in the morning, but then it settled down in the evening, so I ended up getting off early, at 10:45. Whoop whoop!!!

After I got home from work, I changed and walked to the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) house for a little get together they were having. It was blacklight/rave and pretty fun! I didn't get there until around 11:45, so a lot of people had come and gone for the bars by then, or were too trashed to hold a conversation. :P haha  Brea was definitely "feeling it!" lol  I don't know what she had, but she had a lot of it, in a short period of time! She was funny. :)  When we were down in their basement socializing and dancing, she decided to drink out of some random wine bottle, and ended up CHIPPING HER TOOTH! hahahahahaha  It was so funny! It's barely noticeable, but just the fact that that actually happened cracks me up! :)  (I'm a terrible friend.)

I played a little game of "catch up," downing a few too many, and I most definitely had a good time. :)  I really like hanging out with the Pike guys, and my sorority sisters of course, because they're very chill and down to earth, and honestly, they don't have much game, so there's no worry of them hitting on me or trying to "get with me." lol  They're so awkward with girls, it's actually kind of cute. :) haha  It was an overall good night, but it would have been better if Gage was there with me.

At work, I wore my boring work outfit. :P  But, for the Pike house, I wore a light mint long sleeve sweater, with shoulder slits on both sleeves, that I got from Forever21. My jeans were light denim cropped skinny jeans from American Eagle, and my shoes were my silver Candie's sandals from Kohls. While I was at work, I had Katy (since she was working with me) fishtail braid my hair so it looked somewhat cute/decent for the party. As you can tell from the pictures, I found myself a pink glow stick, and put it on my head as a tiara. Naturally. :)

I was not feeling so hot Sunday morning! I didn't get home from the Pike house until 2:30/2:45am, falling asleep around 3. When I woke up in the morning at 10:30/11, I was a tad light-headed, and my stomach hurt. Let's just say I had consumed a little too much "water" the previous night...:P lol

I finally got up and moving sometime around noon, showered, attempted to eat lunch, and then ended up laying back down. I was not having it. My stomach hurt SO BAD and I felt like crap! I eventually was able to eat, without feeling like I was going to vom, and I skyped with Gage, while I laid on the floor. :P  I'm really such a gem...;)

After skyping and laying down, I felt tons better, so I started getting ready for chapter meeting! For meeting, I put my ratchet hair for the day up into a sock bun, threw on a dress, a pair of heels, my pin, and called it good! My dress is BRAND NEW (surprise, surprise!) from Target! It's a capped sleeve black, brown and dark red Mossimo brand dress, with two zipper pockets in the front and a drawstring along the waist, that ties in back. My shoes are simple black Candie's heels from Kohls, but also probably my favorite pair of heels. They're so comfy! :)


Meeting was good, but long, and I ended up staying about forty-five minutes after to talk to my bid day buddy and another Alpha about some questions/concerns they had. I got back to my room around 9:30pm or so, did my homework, and finally got into bed and asleep around midnight. It was a LONG DAY and an even longer weekend! :P
