Oh my gosh it is so warm outside again today! It wouldn't have been so bad, except that I had to sit outside for an hour, with the sun directly facing me. Yuck.
Oh! Quick recap on my night: I went to my standards and scholarship meeting, skyped with Gage afterwards, and then went to formal recruitment practice at the Pi Palace. Got back to my dorm a little after 10pm and got into bed around 10:45, after cleaning, changing, etc. I was sound asleep, getting some amazing beauty sleep, when all of a sudden, THE ALARMS IN MY BUILDING WENT OFF!!! This all went down around 2:15 or so in the morning. I was passed out cold, when I thought I heard my alarm go off. So, naturally, I reached for my alarm clock to turn the snooze off. However, the annoying beeping noise did not go off! Because I had both two of my fans on high, I couldn't hear the emergency alert going off initially, telling everyone to go outside using the nearest exit. So, after I turned off my fans to figure out what the heck was going on, I realized what the alert was saying, so I quickly put on my leopard slippers and my glasses, grabbed my phone and booked it outside! Lucky for me, I wear sleep tees/nightgowns to bed, so the lovely ladies of Lawther got to see me in a sleep tee, my slippers, a sleep mask, and my hair in a high bun on top of my head. Oh goody. :P lol We weren't out there for too long, though, and I had booty shorts on under the sleep tee. Thank God for that! haha
We got back into the building a little before 3am, to find out that the alarms apparently went off because someones fire alarm in their room was set off? I don't know. The whole thing seems weird and sketch A.F. (as "eff") to me...lawlz
I woke up around 7:45am to get ready for the day and for class. Took a shower, shaved my legs (whoo!), did my hair and makeup after getting dressed, ate breakfast, and made my bed, ALL BEFORE I NEEDED TO LEAVE FOR CLASS. How exciting! :) haha Usually I have to eat a granola bar on the way to class, and then make my bed between classes, so today was lovely!
Class was really good today! I seriously really enjoy my theatre class, which I find to be strange, but I'm glad anyways. :P lol My professor is fun and makes it enjoyable by involving the class in discussions, instead of just straight lecturing. It just sucks that the class is only two days a week. :P
After class, I was signed up to work the bake sale fundraiser for Circle of Sisterhood, which is the all sorority philanthropy here on campus. All four chapters were in charge of making baked goods to sell at the tables from 11am-2pm today, so the ADPi's made brownies. YUM! :) I worked the start of the bake sale (so 11am) until noon in the ratchet heat, and then went to eat lunch with some sisters in the union. I was so hot and I felt all nasty sweaty, but that wore off soon once I was inside the air-conditioned union. Hallelujah! lol

Today, since it's day two of sorority recruitment week, I had to wear my green Panhellenic Council v-neck for the fundraiser. I just wore it for the fundraiser part, and then I changed into a different outfit for the rest of the day. I chose to wear my new-to-me United States Navy Girlfriend navy t-shirt, white Nike long running shorts from Scheels, that have a grey strips on the bottom and sides, and grey Old Navy flipflops. I really went all out on my outfit. NOT. :P I've kind of just decided that I don't really care about what I look like anymore. I didn't feel like looking cute and I'm too tired to put in the effort, so yeah. Since it's cold in the library, I brought my new-to-me navy and gold Navy crewneck sweater to wear as well. Its so soft and comfy and warm. :)![]() |

I'm going to get back on that study grind now, so have a great rest of your night! Stay fabulous, friends. :)
