Day 45
I've decided that I detest working Sundays. While Sunday is supposed to be the Holy day, the day of rest, etc... Most of the time, the people who come in are far from being nice and what not. They're usually rude, impatient, and just terrible. Drives me bonkers. I can't stand rude people. Nothing super interesting happened during this 11:45-7:30 shift, either, other than it being super busy in the beginning and then super, super slow in the end. Because it was so slow towards the end of the day, us girls were bored and began kind of... silly :-P That made it more fun. After work, I came home, relaxed with the husband, and worked on all of the homework that I've procrastinated on... It was all due at like 11:59pm, NBD. I got it done, though, and that's what counts :-)
For work, I wanted to be more girly and wear a skirt since I haven't done that in a while. I wore a medium-pink A-line longer Forever 21 skirt that I had purchased online from Forever 21 years ago. It makes me feel skinny and kind of like a teacher :-P I paired it with a white cropped Forever 21 shirt that has different city names printed on it. This was a Plato's buy for $6, and I think it's super cute :-) I hadn't planned on wearing two pieces from Forever 21, but it happens. I guess I just love the clothing there more than I realize. It makes sense, though, since I think a lot of the stuff there is FABULOUS!!
I wore a new-to-me pair of black Cooperative loafer-type flats that I had bought from Plato's for $8 the day before. They're soooooo adorable :-) Not that comfortable, but sometimes it's necessary to sacrifice comfort in the name of fashion. You know, typical fashionista problems ;-)
I don't know if I showed off our new vehicle, so here it is!! It's a certified used 2012 Volkswagen Golf that has 31,000 miles. We got a really good deal on it, and our payments are about average. We do really like it, and I'm glad we went for it because one vehicle for two people who have different work schedules doesn't really work. So YAY for two cars!!
After I got done with my homework, I look over to see my kittens cuddling on the top of their tower. It was SOOOO precious!! I love my kittens so much :-) I'm super glad my kittens are finally getting along and acting like loving sisters are supposed to act.
I showed my kittens some love and then called it a night since I literally did homework from like 8:30 until like 12:30. WAAAAAYYYYY too much time spent on homework. Granted, it was my own fault. I did procrastinate a little bit too much on all of it :-P Oh well... Everyone does it, especially me. It's no big deal, just something I need to be better about.
