Aloha!! I had a wonderful day off, and what made it so awesome was my pedi this morning with my bestie and spending the rest of the day with my hubby since he also had the day off :-) It was really nice to not have to work for a change.
My bestie and I went to get pedicures at the International Plaza Mall at 10, actually got the pedicures (which included a massage and were amazing!!), went to American Eagle for their 40% off the entire purchase sale (where I bought a pair of $50 cropped skinny jeans for $28 after tax), got some pretzel bites and strawberry lemonade from Auntie Annie's, and then called it a day. I love spending much-needed girl time with my bestie :-)
Adam and I went to the Brandon mall, and let me tell you, it's a huge mall!! We sold some games to R U Games, bought the next 2 books in my series from BooksAMillion, got him some comfy Sanuk flip flops, and went out to eat at an Olive Garden that ended up being a 30 minute drive from our apartment. It was totally worth it, though, since I haven't had Olive Garden in forever. Yummy in my tummy :-)
After dinner, we went home, did the dishes, started laundry, watched last weeks episode of The Newsroom, Skyped my family, and just relaxed with the kittens. Super nice and productive :-)
I decided to wear an off-white Forever 21 top that has lace on the sleeves and a cutout on the back with some yellow-and-off-white American Eagle shorts. Simple and cute :-)
I love this shirt because of how cute the back cutout is. I just think it's adorable :-) Sadly, though, none of my outfit came from Plato's, so no incredible deals. But I did buy the shirt for only $12 and the shorts were on sale for $20, which means I didn't pay too terribly much for either of them. That's good, I guess :-P
I chose my cute mint green Forever 21 sandals again since I knew I was getting a pedi. Look how cute my toes look now!! Sooooooooooo much better!! My feet and calves feel incredible now, and even though I ended up paying $33 after tip for the entire thing, it was totally worth every single penny. LOVED IT!!
After relaxing for the past 30 minutes or so, it's become apparent to me just how tired I really am :-P And since I do have to be up at 8:30, it's probably a good idea for me to hit the hay fairly soon. So... Until next time... Stay classy, my fellow fashionistas :-) Ciao!!
-Kassy
