Longest. Day. Ever.

Day 57

OMG I hated Thursday!! It was literally the most tiresome, ridiculous day of my life!! Not. Even. Kidding. So here's the rundown: I worked a crazy busy 9-4 opening shift, drove home (to eat, relax, get the stuff ready for my class, and see my husband), left by 5 to avoid St. Pete traffic for class, got to class by 6, left class at 8:55, got gas, drove back to Tampa, went to a work meeting from 9:30-10:30, went home, and did homework until almost 1am. It. Sucked. So. Freaking. Bad. I was so tired by the end of the day, and I was super hungry as well. Just not a good day.

Work sucked because it was so busy. I was barely able to get everything done that I needed to get done. I was running around like a madwoman up until the last second of my shift. I'm not exaggerating in the least. Literally just a hot crazy mess.

Class wasn't too bad, actually. I was just super tired. To the point where I fought to keep my eyes open and my attention on the lesson. Thank goodness for a wonderful caffeinated beverage called Mountain Dew ;-)

For work, I wore an off-white racerback Stranded tank top that has a black heart on it (Plato's for $3) with my favorite golden-yellow Banana Republic cardigan. It was comfy and super cute, so of course I went for it! I added a new pair of light-wash high-waisted American Apparel shorts that have white flowers on them. I bought them from Plato's for $8, and I LOVE THEM!! At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about them, and I had bought them without trying them on. But, I do love them now :-) I added my good 'ole white braided belt to add some waist definition.

For shoes, I went with my pair of tan Mossimo flats. I figured since I had so much going on with the clothing aspect of my outfit, having a neutral pair of shoes would be best to avoid having too much visual interest. No overwhelming stuff going on here. I'm not about that life :-P

When I got home from work, I changed into a slightly different outfit for class just because. No specific reason other than I felt like it :-P I kept the cardigan but changed my under top and pants. For my top, I went with a mint green v-neck BDG t-shirt that has white feathers printed on it (Plato's for $4), and for pants, I wore my comfy dark wash American Eagle skinny jeans that I've had for forever. Super duper comfy and warm enough for my cold classroom.

I also changed my shoes... go figure :-P I went with my favorite white no name flats that have little cutouts in them. LOVE THEM!! Obviously... since I do wear them so much.

After class (and my super dumb work meeting that wasn't actually dumb but felt dumb because I was so stupid tired), I did homework for like 2.5 hours. I'm amazed that I was able to do any homework at all considering I was so exhausted. I'm definitely impressed with myself on that one :-P And now, on to my next post... Stay fabulous!! Ciao!!
